Aye, I've seen storms at sea as bad as this one me have. Do ya think they'll ever build her back to her former glory?
No. It looks like (from the erosion) that the peninsula was once an oyster reef that filled in...or maybe a series of reefs. Never thought of how it formed. Went over there about every two months and it was really building up. Some of the new construction is still there but no stores, gas stations, resteraunts. It won't be the same.
Drove through here today while coming back from Lake Charles. Until you witness this devastation with your own eyes........
